Samsung Captivate (captivatemtd) and/or Vibrant (vibrantmtd)

Suggesting two similar devices in one thread.
- Devices are supported by CyanogenMod (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Captivatemtd_Info, http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Vibrantmtd_Info)
- Both Heimdall and the SDK are used to install CyanogenMod
- I think Samsung devices are good for unlocked bootloaders/kernels
- Kernel source code available (http://www.github.com/cyanogenmod/android_kernel_samsung_aries)
- Network type for both phones is GSM
The Vibrant is locked to T-Mobile; the Captivate is locked to AT&T in the US and to Rogers in Canada. The good news is, there's a simple and free unlock tutorial available at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=760929.

I am not going to work on any of the US-Specific versions of phones. We (developers) are based in Europe and port to the international versions of phones only. If someone from the US is interested in joining us and port these devices, then why not, they are probably very similar to galaxysmtd.
