LG Optimus 3D (p920)
Added by Linus Drumbler almost 11 years ago
- Supported by CyanogenMod (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/P920_Info)
- Probably has the same or similar installation problems to our much-discussed friend Mr. Optimus P. Black (middle name P970)
- Possible signed kernel/locked bootloader, because...
- There's a reason I didn't suggest this earlier. CyanogenMod's link to the kernel repository is dead. The good news is, I found the kernel source code at https://www.lg.com/global/support/opensource/opensourceList?types=NAME&search=P920. But there's a possibility the kernel is signed if CyanogenMod doesn't have it.
- Network type is GSM (http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_optimus_3d_p920-3759.php)
Of course, the namesake 3D cannot possibly work under Replicant. But the good news is it can be turned off.

Yep, it's crucial to look into the installation instructions upfront this time ;)
Apparently the kernel is built from source in jellybean: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_lge_p920/blob/jellybean/BoardConfig.mk#L26
But the last commit is one year old, so I assume the port for this device was dropped at CyanogenMod. It may still work however, but will make it difficult to forward it to new Android versions.
