Nexus 7 2013?
RE: Nexus 7 2013? - Added by Linus Drumbler almost 5 years ago
The tricky thing about all four versions of the Nexus 7 is that they're NVidia Tegra 3 devices. This means they require lots of proprietary blobs to work. Older Tegra 2 devices have been found to be unusably slow under Replicant, but we haven't tested Tegra 3 yet. Paul, in http://redmine.replicant.us/boards/27/topics/2055, mentioned that a 2012 version might be good for testing. But no 2013 version yet, sorry.

thanks for the reply. I see the situation. I will be getting one soon and I am willing to test out replicanting my nexus if possible. I will keep watching the forums to see possible solutions in the future.

Only the 2012 Nexus 7 uses Tegra 3, the 2013 model uses a Qualcom Snapdragon S4 Pro.
