Sony Xperia U (kumquat)
Added by Linus Drumbler over 10 years ago
- This device is unofficially supported by CyanogenMod. The device repository is here.
- The flashing instructions here use fastboot
- The bootloader is locked, but can be unlocked via the Sony bootloader unlock program, which (unlike Motorola's) has fair terms and conditions
- Finding the kernel code took some time, but you can download it here
- Network type is GSM

The SoC is not well-known, I wonder what it's worth. Lots of firmwares and blobs required though.

A similarly suitable device is the Xperia P (device source, kernel source). Like you said, lots of blobs required for this one, too.
