HTC One S ("ville"

I know this is a Qualcomm device. But it has surprisingly few blobs: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_ville/blob/cm-10.2/device-proprietary-files.txt It's supported by CyanogenMod, network type is GSM, kernel source is here: https://github.com/cyanogenmod/android_kernel_htc_msm8960, and it has an unlockable bootloader through HTC's program.

That's simply not the complete list of blobs. At the very least, the software for graphics is proprietary, so if it's not in that list, then the list is not complete, there is no way around that. Looking at the cm.dependencies and the commits history reveals the existence of https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_s4-common and https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_msm8960-common which both have their share of required proprietary blobs for that device.
Bottomline: it's not more interesting than other qualcomm devices out there, sorry.
