No recovery.img for n7100 (new 6.0-0004 version)
Added by John Newtral 5 months ago
Hi!
Would you mind providing a recovery.img for n7100? It's the only one that doesn't have a precompiled recovery.
https://ftp-osl.osuosl.org/pub/replicant/images/replicant-6.0/0004/images/n7100/
On the other hand, could I use the transition recovery instead?

Thanks!

You can find the system and recovery images at this webpage [https://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/Images].
Please note that the current releases under version 6.0-0004 are Release Candidates (RC).

Thanks for your response.
That page has the official releases but the web I point out is the development one where we can find more updated versions.
Greetings.

Sorry for insisting on this again.
Main download webpage is now updated with 6.0-0004 version:
https://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/Images
However, and taking into account Note 2 recovery isn't compiled yet, when you click on it
https://ftp-osl.osuosl.org/pub/replicant/images/replicant-6.0/0004/images/n7100/recovery-n7100.img
you'll see this:
Not Found
The requested URL /pub/replicant/images/replicant-6.0/0004/images/n7100/recovery-n7100.img was not found on this server.
So please, provide such recovery.img.
Thanks.

Have you tried using the RC5 recovery to install the 0004 release?
If the RC5 images are signed with the same key as the release ones (which I think is a safe assumption), it should work.

Hi!
Yes, I tried that recovery and the transition one. They don't work.
Anyway, thanks for your answer and your time.
