LetsEncrypt for replicant.us SSL certificates?

Added by Paul Wise over 8 years ago

Would it be possible to switch from CAcert to LetsEncrypt for replicant.us SSL certificates? The advantage would be that more people can visit the website over SSL without getting a scary warning.

I would also support this. I have tried LetsEncrypt and it works like magic :-)

redmine.replicant.us gets a C rating. That's not good. If we aren't going to move to Let's Encrypt, we should probably get this rating up to A as soon as possible. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=redmine.replicant.us

I agree with all of these posts. LE is great and ssl labs offers easy instructions to get an 'A' rating, by doing things like disabling weak security protocols/cyphers.
