the whole image as wallpaper

I would love to be able to set the whole image as a wallpaper.

As of right now, when I select an image for wallpaper - I can only select a portion of the image to be displayed. This portion of the image gets even more cropped because of the "swipe between different desktops"-function.
I just use one "desktop" and would like to set a whole image as a wallpaper for that "one desktop".

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Have you tried scaling previously the image you want to?
For instance with Gimp.

The measures are:

S2 480x800 px

S3 720x1280

Note2 720x1280 too.

And so on.
