icons not showing in the gallery app

just a minor thing but dose anyone know why the icons are not showing on the gallery application

the phone is a galaxy S2 running Replicant 4.2

attached is a image showing what i mean.

The built-in gallery app is buggy. Just try alternative apps like LeafPic

leaf pick is only for android 4.4 and above and so is currently incompatible with repicant

do you know of a version of leafpick that will run on repilcant 4.2 or do you know of another image viewing program as
i could not get any of the others to work

Its fine now i have found a app called simple gallery which works well
