Which adapter from ThinkPenguin are you referring to? Could you be more specific?

It is a discontinued model similar to the N300 usb adapter from tehnoetic.

N150USB0 gnu/linux adapter but its not the one here: https://www.thinkpenguin.com/gnu-linux/penguin-wireless-n-usb-adapter-gnu-linux-tpe-n150usb

this one allows speeds for up to 300 megabits per second.

also it is the dual version.

If that's the case, then it should work. It's important that it works with the ath9k_htc driver and the firmware for it.

Hi Wolfgang,

Thank you and the group for making Replicant.
Following up on the post above, will Replicant 6.0 work with ThinkPenguin's newest Wifi adapter (also posted in the post above)

https://www.thinkpenguin.com/gnu-linux/penguin-wireless-n-usb-adapter-gnu-linux-tpe-n150usb

According to its specs, it has the AR9271 chipset, which is supported by the ath9k_htc driver you mentioned...so I'm guessing ThinkPenguin's wifi adapter will also work?

Just would like to make sure.

Thank you in advance!

The Technoethical TET-N150 adapter uses the same AR9271 chipset, and it is confirmed to be working with Replicant 6.0.
So, yes, they should be the same hardware, only rebranded by the two companies.
They should both work well with Replicant 6.0.

Happy hacking,
