Screenshots in replicant 4.2

My dad has a Samsung Galaxy S2 with Replicant 4.2 and wishes to take a screen shot however when ever the screen shot button is pressed nothing appears to happen.
How does one take a screen shot using Replicant 4.2?

He probably should upgrade to 6.0, since 4.2 is EOL and has known security issues.
