Added by doak complex about 7 years ago
As I spent more than 8h to find out what the reason for a) the occurred system corruption b) the never ending crashes had been, I would like to warn every Replicant user about the current DAVDroid version.

I can (probably) second that. Not knowing the cause I had the same issue on an S2 and an S3. I was confident this was about an app I installed several at the same time) and finally narrowed my hypothesis to DAVdroid, which was definitely the cause in my last attempt. I have not tried again but will later.

This might be an issue with other apps as well.
DAVDroid will be updated to fix this in 1.9.2

Note that this is not a bug in DAVdroid, it's a memory corruption bug in LineageOS that Replicant inherited. See https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/issues/969#note_45686081 .
