Enabling internal WiFi on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Added by Lyberta ftz almost 7 years ago
I'm trying to enable internal WiFi on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 running Replicant 6.0 0003. I've copied the following files from LineageOS:
/system/etc/wifi/bcmdhd_apsta.bin
/system/etc/wifi/bcmdhd_p2p.bin
/system/etc/wifi/bcmdhd_sta.bin
/system/etc/wifi/nvram_net.txt
/system/vendor/firmware/BCM4330.hcd
/system/vendor/firmware/fw_bcmdhd.bin
/system/vendor/firmware/fw_bcmdhd_apsta.bin
Now while trying to find why Wifi still doesn't work, I was told to run insmod /system/lib/modules/bcmdhd.ko.
I get:
insmod: failed to load /system/lib/modules/bcmdhd.ko: Bad address
Since bcmdhd.ko seems to be the kernel module responsible for WiFi, this seems to be the reason why it doesn't work.
