Termux not compatible anymore

Added by Daniel Alsace about 4 years ago

Hello,

Recent versions of termux are said to be incompatible. On f-droid there is no possibility to install old and compatible versions.

Termux is really useful to have a real terminal, to use for example w3m which has very low consumption of data (it's really useful with cheap phone contract).

they don't want to make something for replicant… a lot of applications will slowly become incompatible?

Hello Daniel,

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. It actually is quite easy to install old and compatible versions of Termux on Replicant 6.0. You simply need to turn on the "F-Droid Archive" Repository and the most recent compatible version of Termux will show up when you search for it.

In Solidarity,
Kurtis

I searched everywhere to download the apk directly, and didn't think about f-droid archive!

Ok, thank you.
