N7100 won't boot after the battery fell out during bootup
Battery fell out my N7100 during bootup, now the device won't boot, it just hangs out with the Replicant logo on the screen. I thought it would help if I apply an update with adb, but it didn't change anything. I didn't wipe the memory before flashing the update, because I have some important information there. Any chance I can recover the data? Thanks in advance.

I've also a script (https://git.replicant.us/contrib/GNUtoo/vendor_replicant-scripts/tree/images/add_adb_root?h=more-tools) that can add root to existing recovery images or boot.img
Note that all the above is a work in progress, so it might still contain sections that are not written yet, but in another hand contributions are welcome too, and with some help it could be completed.
Also it would be a good idea to make sure you have a valid EFS backup if you don't have one already ( https://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/BackupTheEFS ).
Note that corrupted partitions can also prevent devices from booting: if Replicant can't mount some partitions, it hang very early in the boot process.

Someone reported a very similar issue on IRC, and it was determined that installing the RC5 image for the respective device solved this problem.
You can find the images here:
To avoid losing precious personal files (if any), install the recovery from rc5, which enables adb access, and "adb pull" your personal files from the device.
