How to get wifi on galaxy S3 GTi9300 using 6.0-0004-transition image ?

Hi

I would like to get wireless working on my Galaxy S3 GTi9300 device.

Currently I have replicant-6.0-0004-transition-i9305.zip image installed
and have purchased a Technoethical N150 Mini Wi-Fi USB Adapter for GNU/Linux along with a USB adaptor.

I did try just plugging it in and connecting using the wifi option on the phone, but though it does initially appear to connect it disconnects very soon afterwards.

Could someone tell me what is required to get wireless working on this device ?
Do I need to install the RepWifi (as described here: https://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/WifiAdapter:With the WiFi scripts) app for wireless to work ?
