Description

After following instructions of page http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/GalaxySI9000Installation if I follow steps 7 to 9, my phone reboots again and again on recovery mode.
To stop it, I just jump from step 7 to 10 and it fixes this, rebooting on replicant.

By the way, step 7 is called 8.

I want to clarify that I reinstalled zip from sdcard and then directly reboot without wiping data/factory reset.

  • Category changed from 171 to Recovery

The numbering in the wiki is fixed.

When rebooting, does the phone first boot Replicant or does it directly boot to the recovery? If it first attempts to boot Replicant, you should see the bootloader logo first, then the Replicant logo, then the bootloader logo again and then the recovery. If it directly boots to recovery, you should only see the bootloader logo once and then directly the recovery.

Hi Wolfgang, Sorry for this late answer but a long time ran since my issue and I have to say I do not remember.
However, since I have a new issue with my phone, perhaps I will have the opportunity to test it again and ask this question...
