Description

When installing GitCoat (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.commit451.gitlab/) through F-Droid the phone doesn't respond anymore and reboots at some time.
The Replicant splash screen then appears for more than several minutes until the preparation of all apps starts. After the preparation the splash screen appears again without any sign of booting the system and either prepares again the apps or boots the system. When trying to start GitCoat the whole procedure starts again.

LabCoat not GitCoat is the name of the app.

Please report this issue to the LabCoat devs and supply logs from the main buffer. The issue may not be specific to Replicant and may also affect LineageOS.

This issue was probably due to the infamous reboot-loop bug that affected all apps created with aapt2. It should be fixed in the latest release. I'll reopen if that's not the case.
