When we mirror a repository, we typically use git clone --mirror, and the repositories are typically inside a single directory.
For instance in mirrors/aosp, we have all the AOSP repositories.
So if we stick to that, a script could retrieve the following information:- The repository directory path
- The remote URL
With both and some settings (like the base URL we use, the base URL AOSP uses, etc), we can generate a Redirect file.
