< belgin> GNUtoo: i found some firmware embedded in the smdk4412 vendor kernel which gets loaded for synaptics touch buttons from what i can tell < belgin> drivers/input/touchscreen/synaptics_fw.h < belgin> the n5100 and n5110 (codename kona) uses it < belgin> i will check if removing it will make the buttons stop working
The patch to remove them has been merged now. Thanks a lot for all the patches that remove nonfree firmwares..
