How to test:

This RC has a new system to migrate the application signing keys from the 0003 or 0004 RC1.

To upgrade you can follow this tutorial:
  • First backup all the contacts if you have any (you can add some dummy contacts to improve the test)
  • Then install the RC5 Transition images
  • Then reboot to recovery and install the RC5 images
  • Then once booted you will need to clear the contact application data and restore your contact data

Alternatively you could try to run the key migration script yourself (that you can also generate) but we don't have good tutorials on doing that yet.

A tutorial to do all the migrations have been written in the ReplicantReleaseNotes page but it's not complete yet. Help is welcome to fix that.

Feel free to add your tests in a new reply and then add them to the summary here.

This way we can still understand who to contact for more details if a given test fails.

1 Tests if the image boots until the laucher or not.

2 Tests if it's possible to retrieve the IMEI in the settings. If not the modem is probably not working.

3 Call a number and test if the calls arrives on the other side, and hangup on the other side without picking up the call.

4 From another phone call the phone being tested and pickup, and verify if the audio works during the call without headphones.
