closedSim card not recognized

Description
After I flashed my Galaxy S my sim card isn't recognized. I can't insert the unlock pincode or connect to any network. The simcard is fine I tested it in another phone.

Mhh sounds like the RIL isn't started. Could you paste some radio logs here?
Soem help about getting logs there: http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/GettingLogs

Seems to happen when RIL init fails. Maybe our aries code in libsamsung-ipc isn't strong enough (this happens more frequently with Galaxy S than any other device).

Ok, there was definitely something that could have been improved to make it more stable. This is fixed now: https://github.com/morphis/libsamsung-ipc/commit/617169fce836a9b31d6c629a4b16c886b311fb3f
The fix will be in the next images release.

Is this fixed in 4.0 0001? I just installed it and the simcard isn't recognized. Cyanogenmod doesn't recognize the sim card either.

If it doesn't work with CyanogenMod either, there must be something wrong with your phone, it is not related to the Replicant software implementation by any means.
Issue will remain closed.
