Description

From the cm-10.1-20130304-EXPERIMENTAL-galaxysmtd-M2 ROM.

I installed cm-9.1.0-galaxysmtd.zip

Then Flash the 0002 files

Then wipe data/factory and wipe cache

At the first start, the Airplane mode is ON

If I try to remove the Airplane mode the line indicating the Airplane status goes dark grey with "Airplane is ON" for something like 3 minutes then sometimes it reboots or it gets stuck to a black screen without any possibility to wake up the phone with the home button. When the home button is pressed the phone reboots.

Obviously, airplane mode is not the issue (it's not enabled at first boot). radio and main logs would help, else I can't do anything.

Turned out that the issue was a timeout being reached in the aries libsamsung-ipc code. All the previous bootup part goes fine, so this is not something that can be explained easily. Our code is right and matches the nonfree RIL bootup code, so there is no reason why that timeout should be hit. Seems like a modem issue there. Maybe updating the modem firmware would solve the issue.

I'll close that issue since it seems specific to your phone.
