I obtain DL bitrate of up to 3 Mbit/s even though the UMTS is theorically limited to 2 Mbit/s.

Is there is a partial support of HSPA ?

In any case you should update the http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/GalaxyS page by modifying "Replicant status Supported, GSM flavour (I9000) " adding UMTS

I don't know if there is HSDPA support, that's stuff that the modem handles, not the RIL (our software).
It might depend on what carrier you use, what modem firmware version is installed, etc.
I don't see why adding UMTS is relevant to the GalaxyS page. We support any international I9000 Galaxy S, not only the ones with a certain modem firmware version.

I agree about STK, I'll keep this ticket open as a reminder.
