modem tries to register to the wrong operator after taking a plane back in italy

Description

  • I take a plane back in italy
  • I power off the freerunner before take off
  • I power it on after landing
    => it didn't register.
    So I put the sim card in the nexus S under replicant 2.3
    and it tried to register to the wrong operator during hours....

Operator selection is now working great, see commit 7e7138f9107eb4c3412f7d75002d86249d4456ae on samsung-ril and related commits on libsamsung-ipc: https://gitorious.org/replicant/hardware_ril_samsung-ril/commit/7e7138f9107eb4c3412f7d75002d86249d4456ae

You can now select manually the operator to connect to (if you're not allowed to register to it, it won't try to reconnect automatically) and can also choose to use automatic selection, both working very well.
