Description

aaronw already has a mostly free software build working, with only a few of the proprietary libraries pulled from the main phone. We should have some set of branches in gitorious that are labeled under some name such as "proprietary-transitional" that will help people who do already have the needed proprietary libraries to build a mostly free firmware. This would only be needed until we have replacements for the various proprietary libraries, so over time, the goal of the branch would be to eventually deprecate itself as we replace things.

The ril now works in USA on the htc dream,
so that bug is outdated.
