Description

Everything in the interface of the phone is sluggish and slow, even though the page http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/ReplicantStatus says 2D graphics is "working, fast" on the Galaxy S3.

I am very surprised to read this. Is it slow to the point of not being usable? If so, then there must be something wrong with your device. Else, it probably means that we disagree on what fast means. Compared to any other supported device and to the Openmoko (which is a reference as far as slowness is concerned), it really is fast!
