Description

The service mode (#*#0011##*) seems to work correctly when a connection to the network is established.

I can get the "Basic information" like Technology, frequency, reception (RSCP / ECIO), Perfect.

I can also restrict the network to 3g connection (Phone control, Network control, Band selection, WCDMA Band, WCMA ALL for instance).

This is really good for security as the provider antenna has to be authenticated before any connection, this is not the case in 2g making possible the use of an IMSI catcher.

Also, the encryption is incomparably stronger in 3g.

The bug is that I can access the service mode menu in plane mode but there is no menu entries. It is also the case when there is no PIN code invit (https://redmine.replicant.us/issues/825).

In cm 10.x, in plane mode, when you go to the service mode you get "No service" in "Basic information" and you still can access menus like "Phone control" etc
