Description

Hi

I would like to translate a wiki page to german and I can't get the wiki source.
(Crazy question: shoudn't the wiki source be free available, since it is CC-BY-SA and I can't get the original written text ;) )

Well, that's very kind of you, but we decided that the wiki should only be in English, for easier maintenance (see the wiki guidelines). You're welcome to post a translation of a page or a tutorial of the same kind on your personal pages or blog though and let your local community know about it (well, Germany is a pretty wide community)!

It's CC BY-SA indeed, which covers the content. There is no source code to it, just another version used to edit it. This isn't like software where the sources have to be released for the software to be free. Any piece of art or form of expression can be released using a Creative Commons license without any of the raw material being released.

Apparently, redmine doesn't offer any convenient way to access the source of pages, too bad. Let me know if you know what to enable/disable to have it working, but I don't see anything in the permissions.

A workaround to this is looking in the history and selecting the latest revision. It shows the source that way!
