Safe mode¶

If your device is stuck in a boot loop (the device is crashing during boot, endlessly) after installing or updating applications, it is possible to recover from that by making the device boot with all the applications that are not part of the Replicant images disabled.

To do that, during boot, you have to press the "volume up" and "volume down" buttons together, until the device boots.
